Welcome From Governor
Welcome from the Chair of Governors
Welcome to Trinity School. It gives me great pleasure, as Chair of Governors, to extend a warm welcome to our pupils, families, staff, partners and members of the wider community. Trinity is a truly special place, recognised for its excellence in complex SEND provision and its unwavering commitment to securing the very best outcomes for every child and young person within a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment.
I have had the privilege of serving as a Governor at Trinity School for over two decades, including more than 20 years as Chair of Governors. During this time, I have seen first-hand the dedication and professionalism of our staff, the resilience, individuality and achievements of our pupils, and the strength of partnership with our families. While Trinity has continued to grow and evolve, what has remained constant is our shared commitment to valuing every pupil, celebrating their strengths and supporting them along pathways that reflect how they learn best.
The Governing Body is proud of the school’s clear vision and values, which place inclusion, curiosity and engagement at the heart of school life. These values, shaped in partnership with pupils, families and staff, guide decision-making at every level and ensure that learning is purposeful, responsive and rooted in pupils’ developmental needs. We strongly support the school’s focus on progression that is sustained, meaningful and built through practice over time, recognising that success for our pupils is the result of collective ambition and care.
