Dear Parents, Carers and Visitors

Welcome to Trinity School. I am proud to lead a school where children and young people are truly known, valued and supported as individuals.

At Trinity, we recognise that many of our learners face significant barriers to learning. Our role is to remove these barriers through care, expertise and high ambition, ensuring that every learner is able to thrive and make meaningful progress from their starting points. We are uncompromising in our focus on improving outcomes, while also nurturing confidence, independence and a strong sense of belonging.

Strong relationships sit at the heart of everything we do. We work in close partnership with families, recognising and valuing the insight they bring. Alongside this, we collaborate effectively with a wide range of multi-disciplinary professionals to ensure that support is joined-up, responsive and centred on what will make the greatest difference for each learner.

Our ICE Values

Trinity is a warm, inclusive and purposeful community. Our approach is underpinned by our core values of Inclusion, Curiosity and Engagement (ICE). These values are not simply words; they are reflected in the way we design learning, build relationships and create opportunities.

  • We ensure every learner feels included and respected.
  • We nurture curiosity through meaningful and relevant experiences.
  • We promote engagement so that learners develop skills, confidence and resilience.

Our curriculum and wider provision are carefully designed to meet individual needs, build on strengths and support Preparation for Adulthood at every stage. We place equal importance on academic progress and personal development, ensuring learners are well prepared for life beyond school. This includes promoting social, moral and cultural development, alongside the values that enable learners to become respectful, responsible and active members of their community.

One of the best ways to gain a deeper understanding of life at Trinity is through our half-termly newsletters, which provide a valuable insight into the day-to-day experiences of our learners, celebrating their achievements, progress and the rich opportunities that support their development. Alongside this, our Special Projects page showcases the extraordinary experiences we provide, highlighting how we enrich learning beyond the classroom and create memorable, meaningful opportunities for every learner.

Everything we do at Trinity is driven by a shared commitment to ensuring that every learner achieves as much as possible and is prepared for a fulfilling and meaningful future.

I warmly invite you to explore our school further and to share in the journey of our community.

Very best wishes,

Jo Long
